Description

Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Tasks                                      

  • Manages and implements campaign management strategies to support FamilyWorks gift giving/fundraising goals and objectives
    • Provides individualized strategies for year-end, monthly, and direct mail campaigns that also includes metrics to monitor success
    • Assists with identifying, cultivating, and soliciting donor prospects and developing cultivation strategies to upgrade gift levels
    • Manages personalization gift acknowledgement for donors, and custom contacts including personal emails, phone calls, etc.
    • Creates well written solicitation content for direct mail campaigns
  • Develops process for prospect identification and donor retention
    • Will focus on new gift acquisition by utilizing available information and research such as community networking, events and other relevant sources to identify new donors
    • Assists with the execution of strategies to increase donor retention rates, identify non-active donors, and target initiatives to re-engage donors to active status
    • Develops and maintain effective relationships with program partners and builds collaborative partnerships
  • Enters donor gift and acknowledgment data, as well as other general information related to donor’s contact information and profile
    • Maintains the donor database (Little Green Light) by entering new and updated donor information, generating reports for trends and analysis purposes. Will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
    • Supports in-kind gift entry and acknowledgment protocols
    • Manages and trains volunteers (include - board members) who assist with data entry, acknowledgement, and auditing
    • Pulls donor information from a variety of giving portals, including but not limited to LGL forms, Benevity, KCEGP, UWCFD, Washington Gives, etc.
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining donation & event web forms
    • Responsible for syncing donation & event forms for more efficient gift entry and acknowledgment
  • Responsible for updating segmented acknowledgment templates (cards & emails)
  • Responsible for timely donation acknowledgment by printing acknowledgment cards and sending acknowledgement emails
    • Supports donors’ acknowledgment and cultivation through sharing donor history info with E.D. & D.D.
    • Responsible for following up with Board Members, staff, and volunteers to ensure acknowledgments have been processed
  • Maintains recurring donation accounts
    • Responsible for updating card info, following up with lapsing donors,
    • Screening failed recurring donations
  • Reviews data for deficiencies or errors, corrects any incompatibilities if possible
    • Responsible for working with accounting team by coding gifts towards their proper program designation
    • Responsible for auditing gifts
    • Keeps information updated and confidential
    • Responds to queries for information and accesses relevant files
    • Complies with data integrity, confidentiality, and security policies
    • Attends staff meetings and other meetings as required
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with databases; capable of learning databases such as Little Green Light, Mail Chimp, Google Forms
  • 2-5 years of experience with giving
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders in a positive and engaging manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill

Vaccination is required.
